Stone the Crows foi uma banda de blus formada em Glasgow no final de 1969.

A banda formada por Maggie Bell foi apresentada a Les Harvey por seu irmão mais velho, Alex Harvey.

Após tocarem juntos no Kinning Park Ramblers, eles se reajuntaram (!!) na banda Power, depois rebatizada para Stone the Crows (em referência a uma expressão australiana/britânica [uaahhuuú] de surpresa ou choque [cagamba!]), pelo empresário do Led Zeppelin, Peter Grant.
